Gizlilik ve KVKK Aydınlatma Metni

Bu metin, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu’nun (KVKK) 10. maddesi uyarınca, TurkishGamesConnect’i (turkishgamesconnect.com) kullanırken kişisel verilerinin nasıl işlendiğini anlatır. Siteyi hesap açmadan gezebilirsin; Steam ile giriş isteğe bağlıdır.

Hangi verileri işliyoruz?

  • Steam ile giriş yaparsan: Steam kimliğin (SteamID), herkese açık Steam profil adın ve avatarın, üyelik ve son giriş tarihlerin. Steam şifreni hiçbir zaman görmeyiz; giriş Steam’in kendi sayfasında yapılır.
  • Topluluk etkinliğin: oy verdiğin ve favorilerine eklediğin oyunlar, takip ettiğin stüdyolar, yazdığın yorumlar ve gönderdiğin yorum bildirimleri.
  • Stüdyo sayfası başvurusu yaparsan: adın, stüdyodaki rolün, e-posta adresin ve doğrulama için yazdığın mesaj.
  • Oyun öner formu: yalnızca gönderdiğin Steam mağaza bağlantısı; seni tanımlayan bir bilgi saklanmaz.
  • Teknik veriler: IP adresi ve tarayıcı bilgileri, kötüye kullanımı önlemek için geçici olarak (ör. form gönderim sınırları) ve barındırma sağlayıcımızın sunucu kayıtlarında sınırlı süreyle işlenir.
  • Ziyaret istatistikleri: yalnızca izin verirsen, Google Analytics aracılığıyla sayfa görüntüleme ve cihaz bilgileri.

Amaçlar ve hukuki sebepler

  • Üyelik, oy, favori, takip ve yorum özelliklerini sunmak: bir sözleşmenin kurulması veya ifası (KVKK m. 5/2-c).
  • Siteyi güvende tutmak, spam ve kötüye kullanımı önlemek, yorumları denetlemek ve stüdyo başvurularını doğrulamak: veri sorumlusunun meşru menfaati (KVKK m. 5/2-f).
  • Yorumlarının ve profil adının herkese açık gösterilmesi: üyelik sözleşmesinin ifası; yorumunu yazarken bunu kendin yayımlarsın.
  • Google Analytics ile ziyaret istatistikleri: açık rızan (KVKK m. 5/1). Rızanı istediğin zaman sayfanın altındaki “Çerez tercihleri” bağlantısından geri alabilirsin.

Herkese açık olanlar

Yorumların, Steam adın ve avatarınla birlikte herkese açık gösterilir. Oylar ve takipçiler yalnızca toplam sayı olarak görünür; favorilerini ve takip ettiğin stüdyoları yalnızca sen görürsün. Stüdyo başvurusu bilgilerini yalnızca site yöneticisi görür.

Kimlere aktarılır?

  • Barındırma hizmet sağlayıcımız: site, veritabanı ve e-posta sunucusu bu sağlayıcıda çalışır.
  • Valve Corporation (Steam, ABD): giriş Steam üzerinden yapılır; herkese açık profilini steamcommunity.com’dan okuruz. Oyun görselleri ve fragmanlar tarayıcına doğrudan Steam sunucularından yüklenir, bu sırada IP adresin Steam’e iletilir.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics, yurt dışı): yalnızca açık rızan varsa; bu durumda ziyaret verileri Google’ın yurt dışındaki sunucularına aktarılır.

Verilerini satmayız ve reklam amacıyla paylaşmayız. Yasal bir yükümlülük olduğunda yetkili kamu kurumlarıyla paylaşılabilir.

Ne kadar süre saklanır?

  • Hesap bilgilerin, oyların, favorilerin, takiplerin, yorumların ve stüdyo başvuruların: hesabını silene kadar. Hesabını profil sayfandan istediğin zaman silebilirsin; bu bilgiler hemen silinir.
  • Kendi yorumlarını oyun sayfasından istediğin zaman silebilirsin. Kurallara aykırı yorumlar moderatörlerce gizlenebilir veya silinebilir.
  • Google Analytics verileri: Google Analytics ayarlarımızdaki saklama süresi boyunca, en fazla 14 ay.

Çerezler ve tarayıcı depolaması

Zorunlu çerezler sitenin çalışması için gereklidir ve izin gerektirmez. Analitik çerezler yalnızca çerez bandında “Kabul et”i seçersen kullanılır.

Hakların

KVKK’nın 11. maddesi uyarınca; kişisel verilerinin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, işlenmişse bilgi isteme, işlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme, yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme, eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini, KVKK’nın 7. maddesindeki şartlar çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini ve bu işlemlerin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme, münhasıran otomatik sistemlerle analiz edilmesi sonucu aleyhine bir sonuç çıkmasına itiraz etme ve kanuna aykırı işleme nedeniyle zarara uğrarsan zararının giderilmesini talep etme haklarına sahipsin.

Başvurularını info@turkishgamesconnect.com adresine iletebilirsin. Başvurunu en geç 30 gün içinde ücretsiz olarak yanıtlarız. Yanıtımızı yeterli bulmazsan Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu’na şikâyette bulunabilirsin.

Privacy and KVKK information notice

This notice explains, as required by Article 10 of Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), how your personal data is processed when you use TurkishGamesConnect (turkishgamesconnect.com). You can browse without an account; signing in with Steam is optional.

What we process

  • If you sign in with Steam: your Steam ID, public Steam profile name and avatar, and the dates you joined and last signed in. We never see your Steam password; you sign in on Steam’s own page.
  • Your community activity: the games you vote for and add to your favourites, the studios you follow, your comments and the comments you report.
  • If you ask to manage a studio page: your name, role at the studio, e-mail address and the message you write for verification.
  • “Suggest a game” form: only the Steam store link you send; nothing that identifies you is stored.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser details are processed briefly to prevent abuse (e.g. form rate limits) and kept for a limited time in our hosting provider’s server logs.
  • Visit statistics: only with your permission, page views and device details through Google Analytics.

Purposes and legal grounds

  • Providing accounts, votes, favourites, follows and comments: establishing or performing a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
  • Keeping the site secure, preventing spam and abuse, moderating comments and verifying studio requests: our legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
  • Showing your comments and profile name publicly: performing the membership agreement; you publish them yourself when you comment.
  • Visit statistics with Google Analytics: your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). You can withdraw it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

What is public

Your comments are shown publicly with your Steam name and avatar. Votes and followers are shown only as totals; only you can see your favourites and the studios you follow. Only the site admin sees studio request details.

Who receives data

  • Our hosting provider: the website, database and e-mail server run there.
  • Valve Corporation (Steam, USA): you sign in through Steam, and we read your public profile from steamcommunity.com. Game images and trailers load in your browser directly from Steam’s servers, which receive your IP address.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics, abroad): only with your explicit consent; visit data is then transferred to Google’s servers outside Turkey.

We don’t sell your data or share it for advertising. It may be disclosed to authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Your account, votes, favourites, follows, comments and studio requests: until you delete your account. You can delete it at any time from your profile page, and this data is removed immediately.
  • You can delete your own comments from the game page at any time. Comments that break the rules may be hidden or deleted by moderators.
  • Google Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics settings, at most 14 months.

Cookies and browser storage

Necessary cookies keep the site working and don’t need consent. Analytics cookies are used only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you can ask whether your data is processed and for information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties in Turkey or abroad it is transferred to; ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or wrong; ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7 and for these steps to be passed on to those third parties; object to a result against you that comes solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Send requests to info@turkishgamesconnect.com. We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If you aren’t satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

The Turkish version of this notice prevails.
